About Zahra Rahbari

This platform was created with a clear mission: to empower early years educators through collaborative professional development and to offer families accessible, practical support rooted in everyday child-rearing realities.
At the heart of this work is Zahra Rahbari, an experienced early childhood educator, consultant, and college instructor. With decades of hands-on experience in multi-age child care, family engagement, and adult education, Zahra has observed firsthand the needs of both educators and parents. Her approach blends lived experience with current best practices, creating a space where learning is shared, responsive, and grounded in real-world care.

Zahra Rahbari: A Lifelong Educator, Bridge Builder, and Advocate for Children and Caregivers

Born in Shiraz, Iran, Zahra has always been drawn to the world of children. Even as a young child, she found joy in supporting children to express themselves and access what they needed. Raised among people who valued both care and growth, she learned early on the power of nurturing relationships and everyday resilience.

"We walk with others, not ahead or behind, we co-create the paths where care, learning, and change can truly happen." -Zahra Rahbari

Following Love...

Before immigrating to Canada, Zahra was a dedicated educator and facilitator, teaching English to children and leading professional workshops for over 150 teachers. Her passion for learning, teaching, and empowering others led her to seek new perspectives across borders.

Zahra moved to Canada as an inquisitive learner, open to what a new country could offer. Yet, the transition came with challenges, navigating professional recognition despite strong credentials, and supporting her teenage daughter through the difficult experience of bullying in school. These moments became turning points that transformed her deeply, shaping the empathetic, community-rooted educator and leader she is today.

Over the years, Zahra has worn many hats: licensed multi-age child care provider, ECE college instructor, curriculum designer, consultant, and advocate for culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. Each milestone, from opening her first child care program to designing college courses that integrate Indigenous perspectives and Universal Design for Learning, reflects her commitment to creating inclusive, reflective, and connected communities.

At the heart of Zahra’s work is a deep authenticity that invites connection and trust. She brings her full self into every space, with care, cultural insight, and an unwavering commitment to honouring each child, caregiver, and educator’s story. Her work weaves together lived experience and professional expertise to bridge families, communities, and early childhood professionals.
